How does he have 6 sacks as an NFL rookie and only had 4.5 in at LSU?

I think there are more games in an NFL season.

lmao yea since Sam Houston, New mexico state, and ULM have some pro bowler's at tackle. Stop with the ignorance.

when every guy around you is a stud it allows you to excel, its why measurables are so important to NFL scouts. If you have the raw talent you will get more 1 on 1 chances at that level than you do in college.
Technique has probably improved as well

Yes, but this doesn't support the LSU hate narrative that this board feeds on.

I think hunter could have been a first rounder with a year under O
He seems to have had a pretty decent rookie season.
But I agree, O would have made him a top 10 pick.

Another question is why didn't Hunter go to whoever could teach him basic technique?
How can you be a world-class athlete on that level with a future pro career at stake making millions of dollars and not try to figure out what you are supposed to be doing?
I blame Brick Haley and the LSU coaches for this. But, Hunter also needs to take some responsibility for not trying to perfect his craft.
College football players seem to be the worst at this. They just take whatever a coach gives them.

Man you got destroyed in this thread, just STFU!!!!
Not really. There was no article that said he received no coaching.
I dont know why people are surprised players get better in the NFL. You go from working 20 hours a week for 6 months out of the year to a full time job when you jump to the NFL. Every player should get better.

To be fair to Haley the GA would always run the defensive line drills when he was here.

How is that being fair to Haley? If anything, that's more of an indictment on Haley.

Shitty coaching from Brick.
