Has anyone bought a LSU Jersey with your name and number of choice sewn on? I've had trouble finding a website where I can by such a thing.

The NFL allows you to buy the authentic thing with your name and number-- it'll cost you a pretty penny, but if you have one, you know the difference between the "real" thing and the replica. The materials are thicker, heavier, more durable, and its pretty much the same jersey the players wear on gameday, except your name is on the back.

In short, I'm looking for the same thing but with a LSU jersey. Has anyone got one? I've gone to LSU's official website, and they offer customization, but they screen on your name and number. I'm looking for something sewed on like the real deal. Anyone have one of these? Thanks.

1. Buy a jersey.
2. Bring it to tailoring shop.
3. Get name sewn on. (only if its for your son)

But try this anyway.

thanks. checked both sites. despite advetising, neither offer authentic jerseys. The authentic jersey will cost aroun $150. The purple and gold stripe on the shoulders, the purple Nike check, and the purple numbers are supposed to be cloth that is sewed on. Supposed to be 90%nylon and 10% spandex.

The ones being sold at both sites you've got linked are about half the price, with the numbers screened on, and I think the stripes on shoulder may be painted on.

yes. love it. nothing like it.

I have the authentic NFL customized jersey, and I have knock-offs from China. There's nothing that comes close to the real deal when it comes to jerseys. I've bought Nike Air Max shoes from China for $50 instead of $160 and can't tell the difference by look or feel. But with jerseys you can.

What he means is NCAA authentic jerseys are fitted to be extra snug around the mid section, fit around a set of shoulder pads and are long enough to be tucked down to the mid thigh in football pants

No exactly the kind of look most people go for on game day
