Here are some disturbing quotes from the press release on their website:
“We are excited to partner with Jumbo Sports and make these games available to all CST affiliates across the South” said CST head Rod Mickler. "CST takes great pride in being the sports home of the LSU Tigers".
“To be a part of the greatest tournament in college sports is an absolute joy for us,” said Jumbo Sports Executive Producer Ronnie Rantz.

What a crock of shite. It is unfortunate that LSU is tolerating having it product kept away from a certain demographic that does not have nor subscribes to COX Cable or it's affiliates. By only allowing it's product to broadcast via CSt it is limiting the marker that can watch and enjoy it's product. In a time when state budget cuts are prevalant to higher education you would think LSU would want to make it product availble to all to follow and support. I am a DirectTV subscriber who subscribes to all of the sports channels that are offered to me by DirectTV. I should not have to subscribe to a Satellite provider(Dish Network) that I feel is inferrior to the provider that I already have just to watch the states flag ship universities sports broadcast. t is appauling that my tax dollars go to support this university while I am denied the oppertunity to watch its product on televison when they are broadcast. LSU has the power to make their product available to all supporters, they simply chose to make it available only to those who can get CST.
I will just watch other teams play on the FOX sport networks or who ever is playing on the Big Ten network channel. To hell with LSU and it's regional this weekend.

Awesome, people in Virginia can watch the games but people 60 miles away can't unless they have Dish.

Yes we do LSU does not care where I am a fan or not. They sign this broadcast deal with Cox Cable limiting my access to their product,so why should I care about there regional.
I once was a season ticket holder for LSU sports. It is bull shite like this that makes one loose intrest in the LSU product.
LSU choose to sign the deal with CST alienating part of there fan base by limiting access to their product. Does LSU care about me and the other DirectTV subscribers out there.

Maybe they do, but maybe only CST put a bid in? Or if there were multiple bids would you rather the school take less money (in the face of budget cuts) in order for you to watch this small regional?

What do you honestly want them to do? Take less money? Knowing LSU and the state of Louisiana they are probably forced to take the bid that will net them the most money.
Anyway, if all goes well in the regional you'll miss 3 games that LSU plays in and will be back to watching them in the Super Regional and hopefully in Omaha on one of ESPN's affiliates.

CST affiliates
Do you mean to tell me the Metropolis of Gloster, MS (probably 500 people) can get to watch the games, but two of the most populated counties in MS (Jackson and Harrison) cannot.
I LOATHE OLE MYTH!
