About to log off and go do some work, but I'm gonna leave this here.

I'd like to hear from all the "Les will keep them in the game" and "Conservative play will cost us" negatigers. Les is using his arsenal wisely and now we see why the Hatter has been grinning.

BTW, I've been saying since last year that when the light came on for BH, we would punish some m'fers. Took my orders to pump the brakes and just coasted until yesterday, but damn- punishment time is here. Don't know that I've enjoyed an arse stomping more than the one I witnessed yesterday.

Only gonna get better.

Actually, yesterday's game pretty validated everything they were saying.

I'll answer...again

This week was much better than last week.

This week we ran play action in the 4th quarter and threw to the TE.

This week, we were not telegraphing plays and running right up the middle against a 10 man front.

I think all the complaints about play calling last week were valid.

Rushing for 400+ yards and controlling every aspect of the game negate the need for passing and only a fool would not be OK with that. Just don't expect it every week.

The flow of this game was entirely different than last week and a passing game was not needed.

Does not change the idiocy of the previous week. And it doesn't mean that Les did not almost cost us the game last week.

Hopefully over the next course of games Les will develop the passing game further so when the time comes that we really need it, they are ready.

You start a thread calling people out, then run and hide?

Thanks for proving that some people will never change. I know most of them are shocked, silent, and probably disappointed.

Enjoy the season.

Doesn't he always? Seriously no matter what the score is, doesn't Les almost, ALMOST, cost LSU the game? All of these Almost games year after year wear you out don't they? Victories are joyless to you because Les ALMOST lost the game. If only Les wasn't here no team would almost ever beat LSU.
Amirite?

Two things I asked for
A true read option (check)
A little more play action on 1st & 2nd (check)

The threat of BH running changes everything!!!!

It's always because of Les with some of these nitwits.

Do you even realize how close LSU was to losing against State due to going conservative? The criticism after that game was well deserved. The running attack worked well against AU and there was no reason to do anything else.It was an impressive performance by all.

Do you realize that LSU won?
Close doesn't count. Reality counts.
All of this "what if" crap is idiotic.
LSU won.
You don't like Les Miles.
LSU won.
Deal with it.

No it wasn't. The defense was gassed, and we needed to kill the clock to limit their possessions in the second half once they cracked the code. Mission: Accomplished. The greatest football coach in LSU history outcoached you last week, as usual, and pulled off a road win. You don't have better ideas than Les Miles.

Three and outs don't contribute to a defense getting gassed? He's definitely the luckiest coach LSU has ever had

Yeah, you have to be super lucky to manage a meager 105 - 29 record while competing in the SEC. I wonder when his luck will run out?

Give it up. You aren't as good a football coach as Les Miles, and when you rush 5.8 yards a carry, you don't pass. Very easy to understand. State had the ball for just over 12 minutes in the second half. Want them to have a couple more minutes with the ball? Air it out then.

You goobers think you're football coaches. You're basically just fake football fans.
