on Tuesday from the game.

Boy did calling that word out so soon after that loss REALLY hurt. UGH.

I know :csb: but hey, the Rant can use a little levity!

Really, I was like "how can you do that to me?????". Got tons of replies on my FB page from parents in the same grade ... many thought the children should be "excused" from having to write that word!!

Just a little something to make us laugh.

You told her the truth right?

"Okay darling, this one is pronounced More-On. Other acceptable pronunciations include: IN-Says-T. STEW-PID. RED-NEX. Stay with me, this one is a toughie: DEH-LOU-SEAN-NAL. Good job."

Wierd isn't it - The first person I met when I got to back to work was Mrs. Bamer. She was dressed in red - but had NO CLUE as to why I had a hard time talking with her. She wasn't even aware that a football game had been played. She has NO ties to Alabama. That really was salt in an open wound!

I haven't let my kids wear red since the game. Was in the basement at 5:45 am this morning putting clothes on sprint wash because my 6 year old's non-red shirts for his school uni were all dirty. My husband thinks I'm nuts. My 5 year old is pissed cause I hid his red Batman pjs. It was 32 degrees when I left this morning, but my red jacket stayed inside and will not be worn. Here's to making it to the dry cleaners tomorrow to pick up my coat, because that red jacket will probably go in the trash.

After the game it was so hard making the walk of shame from the dome to our car listening to all the "ROLLE TIDE" and whatnot. Anyway, we got out and I was trying not to think about the game. I was getting dropped off at my truck which I had left in metairie around west esplanade and transcontinental and it was about midnight and in the 5 seconds it took to walk from my friend's car to my car another car drove by and "Roll Tide"ed me. I was like Really? Why the hell is there a random gump driving through suburban metairie. And they rolled up their window and took off immediately. I think it might have hurt less if it was an actual drive-by and I got shot
