OXNARD, Calif. -- Morris Claiborne has been pestering Rich Bisaccia to use him on kickoff returns for the past two years.
The Cowboys special teams coach has finally relented. Claiborne worked there during the offseason program and was back returning kicks in the team's first special teams practice of this training camp Monday morning.

"I've been bugging Rich to put me on kickoff returns for awhile now,'' Claiborne said. "He's not been for it. Then he finally put me on it this offseason in spring.
"I'm pretty sure they like the way I was catching the ball and getting up the field with it. I've been on it permanent now.''

Claiborne was an explosive return man at LSU. He averaged 25.09 yards a return for his career — seventh in school history — and took one 99 yards for a touchdown.

I REALLY hope he can finally break through. One of my favorite tigers.

I am really pulling for Mo to find a second wind (or first) with his career. He just seems like a good dude that the Cowboys have not put in a scheme for success relative to his skill set.

I kind of hoped that the cowboys would have cut him so that he could be picked up by someone that he fit there scheme better!

He better relish it. If not, he may end up looking for another job

He shut the door on West Virginia when it looked like they were coming back.

It doesn't matter what the scheme is if the player is constantly injured. We all love Claiborne, but he has been injury prone. He's started only 36 games in his 4 year career....that's MAYBE half of Dallas' games. I wish the guy the best as it's got to be mentally hard on him, too. He just wants to play and shine.
