We haven't had to worry about this in so long but what about those bullets that Mett fires? He slings it so fast that defenders can't get their hands on the ball but will Landry and OBJ be able to hang onto it when wet?
Rain is not the friend of a passing game. I'm trying not to be a negatiger but could rain hurt our game?
I know, I know, it never rains in Tiger Stadium.... The saying and John Ed's book. But seriously, a deluge in BR this weekend. Will it hurt us?

Yes I saw the weather report. Just didn't read all 15 pages. Just asked the question because I know the weather report. I also looked outside. Solid water. Then I also saw a thread after I posted about the sloppy game.
Sorry.

My point is not if it will rain. That is a given. How will it help/hurt our game?

If it hurts our passing game, then it hurts theirs as well.

Our o-line/rbs are superior

I like us in this one

Everyone is acting like LSU will be the only team playing in the rain. It will rain on Auburn too. Will it hurt their game? Does it give us the advantage? See, it goes both ways

Actually rain with no wind usually hurt the running game more than the passing game.

Rain doesn't hurt a power running team near as much as a spread team that runs sideline to sideline. LSU's superior o-line will wear down Auburn and the rain should keep the score down which will work in our favor.

You do realize it will rain for both teams if it rains.

i really dont think the rain is going to hurt us
if anything i think its going to make us feed hill 30 times and rush for 250 yards
but im feeling confident right now since its 1:10 am and i have had a few
anyways i like our chances

Yes both teams play in it.. but I prefer seeing our speed maximized and a clean game. See Penn st. Anything stupid can happen in sloppy weather conditions.. No way LSU loses to Penn st in that game on a normal field in regular conditions.

relax bro. our line on both sides of the ball has been dominant.

why is it so rainy? is there a tropical storm or something?

i seriously dont know since im on the other side of the world.

every time it has rained in br during football season i dont ever recall it raining during game time.

i do remember that oregon st game in 2004 when it was sloppy

I hate when people use the rain or a sloppy field as an excuse for losing!!! It's fricking football!!!
