Could I still be considered an LSU fan if I attend Ole Miss?

As a senior in high school I began applying for colleges. I really screwed up and I am on the border as far as getting into LSU. I would like to attend Ole Miss if not accepted by LSU. Do I have to give up my fan card if I attend Ole Miss?

I grew up in Mississippi and still went to LSU.

No. I've been a diehard LSU fan for a longtime. I lived in Oxford for four years and watched and laughed as Ole Miss lost to LSU in 03. I even went to Ole Miss for a year because the military doesn't pay enough for me to go to LSU.
I now drive around Hattiesburg, MS with LSU flags on my car.

You can. Getting accepted has actually gotten harder for the average Joe. My sister graduated with a 3.6 and was put on the waiting list. When she got accepted she had like 0 financial aid. So she chose to go to Mississippi College to be a nurse practitioner

Dude I don't care what anyone on this board says, everyone's situation is different. Monetary issues, educational issues, whatever. It doesn't matter. An education is the most important factor. You can go to Ole Miss, Alabama, I don't care. If you're an LSU fan you're an LSU fan.

Tough one, but I say as long as you come out of Ole Miss feeling the same way about their athletic teams as you did going in, then yes. It takes a lot to continue supporting a school when you're attending a different school in the same conference.
Hopefully you get in to LSU and it's a moot point.

Lol. No. There's another poster who chose to go to ole miss and is an LSU fan. Caterpillar I think.. You grew up an LSU fan. No reason for that to change now. Not every fan goes to LSU.

If you can't get accepted at LSU then you should probably quit while you're ahead and give up on the whole college thing.
