I don't think we can. You have to score points to beat Arkansas and that is something we are incapable of.

If OSU beats OU this weekend and Texas wins, OSU will be looking at an "at large" bid to the BCS Fiesta Bowl.

Big XII champion will more than likely be Texas. Texas will get bid to BCSNC and a slot will be open for Fiesta,(big XII tie in). OSU will be highest ranked big XII team after Texas. The same scenario for FLA/ALA for Sugar...really not that hard to figure out.

i think you don't understand how this works ... once texas is selected to play in the BCSNCG, the fiesta bowl is no longer obligated to select a big 12 team to fill that slot .. oklahoma state is #12 in the BCS ... they aren't going to get any bump at all beating a 6-5 unranked team ... if anything the pitt-cincy loser would go ahead of them as well as boise state, just to name a few ... no way okie state gets in the BCS .. no way ...

That is why, in my original post, I stated that they are "looking at" Fiesta. To further explain, for all of you that have no reading comprehesion, OSU is eligible for Fiesta if the scenario described gets played out. I am not stating that they will, IN FACT, go to the Fiesta Bowl, only that the Cotton Bowl might not be their best option. Also, in case one wants to argue, I also realize that TCU, Cincy and Boise come into play for BCS bowls. So, before anyone gets their panties all bunched up and sand in the vag, I am only pointing out that Cotton is not a lock for OSU should they win out.

They have first beat OU this weekend for this to be possible.

Would have to beat Arkansas first. I have no doubt we will finish second in this game with our IDIOT coach! We will end up 4-4 and 4th in the west and will probably end up in the Music City Bowl or Liberty Bowl. With our lack of pash rush Ryan Mallet will throw for 400 yards on us and put up at least 45 points. I hope I am wrong but I can't see up even being competitive in this game. The players have no confidence in Miles or Gary Crowton and why should they.

I understand completely. I also understand that most SEC fans would expect that the Sugar Bowl would more than likely take FLA/ALA loser even though they are no longer obligated. OSU is a fairly attractive team right now, especially if they beat OU this weekend.
