I give up in trying to understand LSU fans being called that. I have never actually seen anyone eating a damn corndog while tailgating or in the stadium. It's like a bad joke that only the person saying it laughs, but you find yourself looking around to see if anyone else is laughing thinking that you missed something.. Is that really the best opposing fans have?? Please tell me that there is something more to this than smelling like corndog...

I forget the actually story but it started with someone calling Nebraska fans that. (Cornhuskers-corn dogs).
Somewhere in there, Auburn fans got wind of it and started calling us that and it just stuck.
It makes me laugh. Corndogs are yummy!

Word is Jimbo doesn't really like corndogs. One of the main reasons he's backed out.

Les is gone after A&M and Jimbo Fisher will be announced the new coach early next week. It is what it is and the sun will still rise in the morning. Why should I worry about things that I don't have control over? I was just curious as to how some crawfish, jambalaya, and gumbo eating Cajun people get confused with corndogs lol.

Don't even bat an eye when someone calls you that as an insult, just continue on as if it was never uttered.
That said, I hadn't eaten a corn dog in decades, but I picked up a box at Costco the other day - man, they're delicious.
