BATON ROUGE – Former LSU standout and current New York Giants defensive back Corey Webster has donated $200,000 to the Tiger Athletic Foundation dedicated to the building of the proposed Nutrition Center for Student-Athletes.
Webster, a member of LSU’s 2003 National Championship team, will be honored during pre-game activities on Saturday when LSU hosts Florida in Tiger Stadium.
Webster’s donation, one of the largest of its kind by a former LSU student-athlete, marks the start of cooperative efforts by the Corey Webster Foundation and TAF designed to create “a culture and tradition of giving” by former LSU student-athletes.

Healthy and proper eating choices combined with state of the art strength training will provide these young people with a complete fitness regimen while competing at LSU.

Used to eat in the Pentagon Cafeteria with Corey. I guess he did not find it as nutritious as I did. Anyway, props for the donation.
