With two full days of rain, and raining Saturday night, who might that benefit the most?

I hear that LF#7 is a really strong swimmer, so I am going with him.

I think I would rather it not rain. Fournette didn't look great cutting against Western Kentucky.

Bama's kicker is 0-fer from beyond 40. 1/4 from 40-49 with his season long being 40 yards. I don't know if the rain will affect him or not, I mainly wanted to point out how shitty Bama's kicking game is. Geaux Tigers!

I saw forecast and that evening it said .3" of rain. 80% chance. So rain is a given I'm hopin it's not a ton of it. I think it hurts us. We're a quicker team and need LF's cut n go ability. This is LF's advantage over Henry so wet field imo evens the RB matchup.

Agreed.

The rain looks like it should be ending by Saturday night. Sunday will actually be a beautiful day. Hopefully the weather can move through a little bit quicker than predicted.
Alabama has one of the nicest fields in the country. It's not like it's some patch job. It'll drain well, plus they'll have it covered, and it shouldn't rain during the game.

wet field is equalizer.
LSU is the better team,
so bama will benefit,
but not enough to win

Until actual rain is reported I will disregard the 600 threads on how the weather will be a factor. It might rain but it could be an insignificant amount and or the field may handle it as its expected to.

quote:I wouldn't put it past them to not be as diligent protecting their field. It would be smart because a sloppy field would tend to neutralize some of LF's advantage and also favors the short passing game.

Actually they're moving the game to Baton Rouge.

I wouldn't be surprised if they are out there with a fire hose hosing it down. It is like when the saints played in Chicago a couple of seasons ago and it looks liked they hadn't mowed it in weeks. If you aint cheating you aint tryin

I live in Atlanta. Considering cancelling my trip there based on weather but I'm feeling very pansy-esque about that potential decision

Never been discussed before

Rain hampers running games. Whoever is hurt the most is whoever has the least prolific passing game. Debate all you want as to which that is.

Brandon Harris looked good throwing in the rain. Advantage...LSU
