Also eagerly awaiting Ross and/or Jones getting hot at the plate.

My only concern at the moment. They are veterans so I expect them to bounce back and get it going soon.

Not making an "excuse" for Jones, but I feel like Jones has hit into a lot of bad luck this season. He has been making solid contact and having some deep ABs and just keeps hitting the ball at guys with gloves.

Agreed, his patience at the plate this year is evident and his free swinging days are behind him. He has had a lot of hard outs as well. Like I said earlier in the week, I would still like to see him take a few of those hangers he's been laying off of over the left field bleachers.

My only concerns are the same ones I have with the way Mainieri coaches. Is it after the third inning and did the lead off runner reach? The PM 9000 is set to auto-bunt.

That being said, he wins a lot of games. It just isn't the way I would personally manage a game. Drives me crazy but isn't wrong, per se.

Hanover is coming back to close. 120mph arm coming with him.

I'm a little concerned about our Sunday guys. They got knocked around a little last weekend. But as for everything else, I'm feeling very confident at this point

The only designated "Sunday guy" is Cody Glenn. His ERA is .73

Our pitching staffs is one of the best in the entire country. In all seriousness, I don't think that is an area for concern.

Definitely hitting. We always start off hot and then slowing dwindle down as the season goes forward when facing tougher pitching.

In depth analysis like this is what keeps me coming back to the Rant.

Couldn't the same be said for the entire SEC? All SEC teams have played majority "creampuffs" in non-conference games.

I wonder if this happens to other teams. Someone needs to do some research.
