I apologized if this was already brought up but did you notice that the team didn't come out together at the beginning of the second half. Mathieu came out by himself followed a little later by Jefferson. Then about half the team ran out with the cheerleaders followed a litle later with the rest of the team.
I expected to see some real life and the team charging out together to right the ship after a terrible first half - was our team divided at that point?? Anyone know whay it was so disconnected? To me the entrance sent out a message that was not positive at all! There was no enthusisam that we can still win the game at all...

It looked like what the slaves probably looked like when they entered the colosseum to fight lions

I explained it away to myself saying that everyone has their own routine at a halftime, but it sure looked like shite to me.

Did you see the looks on their faces when they went into the locker room at half? They looked whipped.

they knew after halftime that they were running the same game plan and figured they were going to lose.

I'll be 100% honest here. The opening kickoff of the 2nd half showed me all I needed to see. The Alabama player fielded the ball 6 yards deep in the endzone, and should never have brought the ball out. When he ran out I thought we'd pin Bama at the 10 yard line. Well, he ran through about 4 arm tackles and took the ball to about the 32 yard line. I noticed the lack of effort on that kickoff coverage and told my friends "It's over".

The WRs/TE kept attacking that Tampa two with deep routes, only for JJ to get sacked by either holding onto the ball, poor OL play, or an immediate BS check down throw.

How many times before they would get discouraged?

It was the first and only time LSU kicked off all game.

RS didn't really play.

There was virtually no vertical passing game. Did we even attempt a pass beyond 10 yards? I can only remember 3.

JJ had more carries than our entire RB stable, and half of the Rb carries were late pitches after terrible Qb execution on the option.

What exactly what get you fired up about that plan?

This now crossing routes what so ever, no trust in either QB all year to run these. The rest of team was so good it never reared it's ugly head until the title game. I think Mett will step up unify the team and we will have a QB to got with the best team in college football. I can't wait unitl next year.

Worst I've ever seen. Makes no sense.

I'm getting madder as each day goes on, honestly.

Bama blew this game open by completing multiple passes underneath the deep coverage.

LSU adjusted to bring the zone closer the to the line of scrimmage. Bama then started attacking the man-to-man with corner routes, deep outs, and check downs to the Rb's for a positive play.

LSU has the athletes and skill personnel to run this exact same system, but the Qb's that could potentially execute it were on the sidelines all game.
