Short passes to backs and tight ends. That will

Everyone is saying do this. I think Bama will expect it. I say come out running.

What would happen to the Rant if they would go 3 and out on straight passes to start the game?

Could be great, could be catastrophic. Let's remember that we haven't seen Harris turn the ball over yet this year. How will he respond if he does?

Come out in the Wildcat with Leonard lining up under center in the i-formation.

It was a solid game plan in 2012. Unfortunately, the defense collapsed at the end of each half.

I think this is a common misconception. LSU is LSU you come out doing what you do best see if they can stop it then adjust from there. You run right at them early. If Bama dlineman and linebackers have the most tackles in the first half that is more wear and tear for the second half. Don't out think yourself be you. What makes LSU great is they have an identity and make the other team adjust to beat them.

Once the quarterback has the ball, he fakes to the left.

No. He fakes to the right. He doesn't fake.

He thinks about faking. He pretends to fake.

I don't know where I am.

I can't breathe.

They can't be shy about throwing it, so I have no problem with it, and first down will be one of the better downs for them to do it and throw when they want to off play action instead of waiting till obvious passing situations when Saban will dial up his blitzes. Play action on first down to Colin Jeter behind the linebackers/in front of the safeties should be an easy throw and catch all day.

I love it! Let it be known from this moment moving forward that LF7 is now known as, "Fournado".
