he will be drafted in the 7th round, which would be awesome for me, but a bummer for him.

Pull himself out because he gets slotted pay. Supplemental would allow a higher slot value

If he goes in the 7th round his deal is super cheap. Hell he might sit out a year

Him pulling himself out to get into the supplemental draft actually means he's more likely innocent as others have pointed out.

Well I don't know what that draft is, except obviously it will be at a later date. That being said, it makes sense if he can clear his name, with having absolutely nothing to do with this crime, which I suspect he will. Things will calm down and he will get drafted for good money, but probably not sign, hold out for more. It might be a good thing for him, maybe best case scenario as things stand now.

I hate this for him because he is a character guy. How quickly people forget he was an elite talent that actually stayed his senior season (with no qb) when so many of his fellow teammates (especially linemen) were bolting early
