I was there yesterday, and I came away with nothing more than Bama as the team to beat period. Yes, the Aggies moved the ball on Manziel scrambles, designed runs and witchcraft passes, but after taking the 14 - 0 punch Bama pretty much had there way. The environment was electric and the game was fun to watch with no real skin in the game. Bama's execution on offense is NFL-caliber, the defense can be had, but the A game is required.

I was there as well. I equated the atmosphere to lsu vs Arkansas not an lsu bama game. What I took away is when Atm loses Johnny and Evans they are an 8win team. The defends has a ways to go. However lsu better bring their a game against both.

I expected A&M to come out on fire with adrenalin flowing yesterday, but also wondered how long they could sustain it? Bama didn't panic, just did what they had to do...

I was there too, if you call that stadium electric you are crazy.

A&M up 14-0 and it was chill ebb and flow sans a few rehearsed yells. I'll take a drunk vulgar LSU student section over there 50000 any day.

I took away that A&M 's D sucks 3 weeks ago, and Bama verified it yesterday.

Other thing I took away is that Bama is not that great at point of attack on both sides and Saban knows it.

Oh ya rah rah Johnny football should have studied more film, his turnovers where terrible throws and he coast A&M the game.

I agree the throws were bad, but I don't understand what that has to do with not watching enough film? The one in the EZ was just a poorly executed fade, good play by Bama DB to stay with the play.

Agree. A&M benefits from some extremely lucky and non-scripted plays by Manziel.

Bama looked like they haven't missed a beat. Offense is very efficient. Saban's DB's give up big plays. Water is wet.

Some very fortunate events kept A&M in that game.

the suffocating heat takes a lot out of the crowd but it was impressive that the Aggies kept yelling when they were on D and had zero chance of stopping Bama

You're just trying to hate. I see that you live in College Station so I'm sure you're not in the least bit biased.

I suspect bama's OLine issues that were exposed by VT are still there, A&M just can't play defense worth sh!t.
bama's D gave up more points than it has in over 10 years.
Good year to be a Tiger my friends.

When JFF is hot and Evans is going up top and making plays look out. That stuff is unstoppable when they have it clicking. Johnny has a lucky charm in his pocket at times but it works. Bama had to leave their DBs one on one to keep JM from scrambling. They will have no such threat to contain against pocket passers. Just my two cents worth.

Lots of interesting comments! The next two games will say a lot about how we matchup and play against Bama and Auburn. I'll call Auburn A&M lite and Georgia Bama lite!

The fade in the endzone was the turning point. The throw was perfect. To say it was Johhny's fault is crazy.

The receiver on a fade is to keep running his man firmly into the corner then turn around. Its either his, PI or Incomplete. A good call.

The receiver ran a couple of yds. into the Endzone and turned around way too early. The DB was able to secure the WR at his spot and had all the grass to the corner.

Amazing this is all you have to say about the kid who just put up the highest numbers vs. Saban in his career and vs. Alabama in its entire History.

464 pass 98 rush 5 tds and you make it sound like it was no big deal. What about Saban's 10 months to prepare and SEC all has film now? JFF will collapse in year 2.

Funny.

Im an LSU fan too so I can't talk smack but I would think LSU fans would see this kid is beyond special.

Going to be fun in Death Valley - I wish it would be at night.
