College Gameday...how to get in the barricades for the show

Other than showing up early and having a cool pg rated poster, what else is required? My brother and I will be at Lambeau. Guessing I need to be there around 4 in the morning at least. I have never been there so thought I would give it a shot.

Just get there early. Probably 5 to get front row and get a helmet, but just to get inside you should still be good by 6 or 630

Only did it one time, during 07 Virginia Tech. Got there at 4 am and they took my sign away that said "Erin Andrews gives me wood!"

When we have an R rated sign we just get creative with how we tape it and put a very G rated one over top of it that we take off after they check our signs. That's how we got a giant picture of Robert Nkemdiche hitting the bong at the ole miss game in 2014

I have always wanted to bring a sign with a picture of Daffy Duck and just put Lou Holtz' name on it

my bro and i got out there at 4 am for the VT game in '07. always wanted one of the helmets. we accomplished our goal, and i'll never go out there again.

Gonna work on my poster this weekend and make sure it is PG rated. Will come up for a few ideas and put one on one side and the other on the reverse.

biggest problem about being in barricades is no food or drink allowed. Can get mighty boring, but good luck!

Yeah man I cant fathom spending my morning doing this. If you could bring an ice chest in then it might be cool but it sounds like it blows.

Honestly it's not really worth it. It gets really boring as the show goes on. Though I guess it's cool to do once if you've never done it

I've walways watched from afar and drank. best of both worlds. As a high school kid I was front row and that was fun, but not after really having the alternative

the atmosphere at Game Day was awesome when they'd have it over by the PMAC.
I'm not sure if its the move to the fairgounds or the show jumping the shark in general that kind of killed it when it comes here.
