Attendance seemed to be a hot topic last year. We came in at 5. I know there was a bunch of hate about people leaving early, but at least we have the fifth most attendees.

LINK

Interesting Stats (to me)
1. We're about 25-30k over the average SEC school attendance
2. We increased attendance from 2015 by almost 8k (from 93.4 to 101.2)

We're in good company. Those are big time programs listed there.

11 SEC Schools in the Top 30. Pretty cool.

I know you say that disparagingly, but at a quick glance, it doesn't say whether the stats were based off of tickets purchased or actual attendance

I don't say it disparigingly at all. Just pointing out that it's not entirely correct since weve never had 100,000+ people in the stadium before, save for maybe a bama game. Even then I'm almost confident we haven't.

I'm not shitting on LSU, all of these numbers on the list are indubitably inflated to reflect paid.

All I know is that these numbers are the reported numbers -- I tried a quick google to find out more information, and couldn't find anything concrete besides "this is what the schools report."

Regardless, we averaged selling 101,000+ tickets per game last year. Pretty solid revenue wise, and hopefully we got 90% in the seats for those 7 games (which, I know, probably isn't the case)

Interesting, none of the teams in your list won the national championship this past year.

We actually led the sec until TAMU expanded. So during all that shite fest and how bad Miles was, LSU led the entire conference in ticket sales.

Lol, even if 90% showed up, it is usually below 50% by the 4th. I went to every home game last year. And funny how when the games are closer, the stadium stays more filled. But if it's a blow out, everyone heads for the exits. But then people bitch about how boring and not fun games are when we play a close game.

Out of the Top 10 there were 5 SEC Schools. Three from SEC West!

Those aren't "attendance" numbers.

Once people buy the tickets they can do what they want. The money is in the bank! If they want to spend money and not go or leave early then that is their business. I was so happy to get Season Tickets in the 80's I was there every game and never left early.

Not all schools report actual attendance, so it would be impossible to do a list. It's safe to assume this is paid attendance.
