Will this be the season it happens for the first time?

Sucks that the Kentucky home game is a Tuesday night BUT.. Oklahoma is ranked #8. If they maintain and LSU and Simmons live up to the hype, this could very possibly be a Top Ten matchup, or close to it, on January 30th. If that is the case, and as talented as Simmons is and as likely to be one-and-done as he is, I think the chances are quite good.

And yeah I know: "Big freakin deal", "Who cares", etc. But I think it would be pretty cool to atually have the show in the Deaf Dome for once.

I thought they did it one time the year after the Final Four? I may be wrong but I seem to remember a Big Baby segment and they were in the top ten at the beginning of that season. I could be wrong tho.

For basketball, they don't do it week to week deciding on locations. The locations are set prior to the 'start' of the season. When they will set the schedule for 2016, I'm not sure. It does not appear to be set with locations as of yet though.
For example, this is last year's schedule.

Couldn't remember and tried to search online but to no avail.

Downvoting myself now.

Did not know that.

It was fun though. They let us in the PMAC for gameday in the morning and gave wristbands for the first 500 or so for the sideline student section at the time so you didn't have to wait outside all day till the game that night.

I remember when this happened. Jay Bilas basically said is a bad trip and an awful turnout. I talked to Reece Davis for about 10 minutes.....about football. Nice guy.

I'm sure there's a reason why they plan them for basketball, but i'd like to see it like football, where they go to most interesting, best game that coming up weekend.

Unfortunately there are a couple of other good games that day as part of the Big 12/SEC challenge, not the least of which is Kentucky at Kansas.

The best chance for LSU, AT HOME, may be LSU v. A&M on 2/13 (assuming both live up to expectations). LSU does have two good road games on Saturdays that may be in play (at Vandy to start SEC play and at UK to finish it)
