In his draft wrap-up:

Logan--and our entire DLine--missed Brockers more than most realize. Including(or maybe even, especially, our own fans).

Arizona Cardinals

quote:

Picks: G Jonathan Cooper, ILB Kevin Minter, CB Tyrann Mathieu, DE Alex Okafor, G Earl Watford, RB Stepfan Taylor, WR Ryan Swope, RB Andre Ellington, TE D.C. Jefferson.

Analysis: Jonathan Cooper (Getty)No matter what happens with Mathieu – and all outcomes are on the table – this is probably going to end up being a strong draft because of Cooper and Minter. Cooper is an extraordinary guard, the rare type that is worth not only taking in the first round, but in the top 10. You’re talking about a potential all-time great at that position. As for Minter, he’s a very good player who will likely start from Day 1. Moreover, Minter and CB Patrick Peterson are part of the plan to get the most out of Mathieu, an extremely talented and sadly undisciplined player. If that weren’t enough, the beauty of this draft could be in the combination of Okafor, Taylor and Swope, who all have a chance to be serious contributors. Grade: A

So they have Peterson and Minter to Baby Sit Mathieu because he is sadly undisciplined. Highly paid Baby Sitters!

Don't know if Logan was an underachiever....Just wasn't impressed with him all yr.

Same with Mingo....Lot's of tools but made far fewer plays this yr. than expected.

Five yrs from now will prove this to be true for those that believe the opposite.

I wish they could have kept him on the straight and narrow while he was at LSU... ultimately it is all on TM

If being a three star recruit from the little town of Coushatta and then going on to LSU to eventually wear the coveted #18 and having a pretty good career there is "underachieving" than I would take that all day long.

Yeah, lots of people on the Recruiting Board didn't believe that he was worthy of an offer. He was one of the least-heralded LSU recruits. Anything but an underachiever.

What that guy doesn't get is: he's an overachiever to even be in the conversation. His attitude and work ethic is something NFL coaches will love.

This is really really poor English even for a message board.

I'm not sure I get the Logan to the Eagles fit, but "underachiever" is an odd tag to him.

I think he should have come back for another year. Only one year of being the full time starter. I really think he could have gone mid 1st rd next year if he came back this season.

Well, to be fair, TM didn't get into trouble his freshman year when he played with PP.

many fans only focus on the scoreboard....some actually do focus on the field. of course, for many Tiger fans on gameday....focusing on anything can be a challenge.

get better.

Well PP21 is also a two time pro bowler. But he is mostly paid for his baby sitting services.
