Coaches don't want to deal with what this fan base has largely become...

Entitled.

I bleed purple and gold but holding ourselves to the standard of winning 11+ games every season FOREVER is just ludicrous.

Yes I think we needed change. Change has been made so let's see where it takes us.

Enjoy the victories. Analyze the defeats and get better.

Hope some of the "fans" who are quitting on LSU football stay there.

Alabama, ohio, fsu, Michigan all get to expect and are expected to win 11 games a season but we aren't allowed to with better talent every year?

I'm not saying we have recently. I'm saying the expectation is we win 11+ or somebody needs to lose their job. That's the mentality.

Most on here have never even set foot in the stadium.

Not a single potential incoming coach gives 2 shits about the fanbase expectations.

They want money, control and a reasonable path to winning titles leading to more money and control. In that order.

How about not wanting to hire a career dline coach? Is that too much to ask? How about having an AD that realizes there are other coaches besides Jimbo and Herman THAT ARE FAR MORE QUALIFIED THAN A DLINE COACH? Is that too much?

The key is I said forever. FSU isn't having a national championship type season but they aren't calling for Jimbo's head.

Alleva is awful I'll give you that. But aside from his incompetence, the vast majority of fans wanted Herman or Fisher. Now that we don't have either everyone wants to blame him for not having a wide enough search...

He should be fired. There is ahuge gao between not getting jimbo/herman and settling for a career dline coach. This is one of the worst days in lsu history. Its the worst hire in big 6 history.
Yes everyone wanted herman or jimbo. Once those were off the table, you dont settle for a coach that wasnt good enough to he your DC.

bullshite. The perception of what you think of the fan base is about is due to reading the retards on this board all day.
The fans are in general fine and better than those at 95% of the programs

Oh for give us for wanting to win with the talent we have and run an offense that's not a junior varsity offense. Yeah we don't deserve better paying the highest staff in the nation.
