and I think that will motivate him to success. That’s what I’m hoping for anyway. If he keeps Aranda, gets a top OC, recruits the state, and gets rid of BDP...I think he can do great things.

I don't think you understand that motivation doesn't increase your intelligence.

So he didn't really want to win at Ole Miss? That makes sense I guess.

It’s a shame that you would compare LSU to Ole Piss.

Les Miles knew that it was his last shot to change the offense. Deadlines don't necessarily make people perform any diffreentry.

Tons. Mike Wallace, Patrick Willis, Dexter McCluster.

Enough talent for Houston Nutt to win 9 games. HOUSTON NUTT.

No but he did at LSU and USC. His record vs opponents that will finish ranked is still pretty bad.

The question you must ask yourselves is:

Can Ed Orgeron lead LSU to a national title, or even the playoffs?

The answer is absolutely not.

Doubt it. We looked flat as balls against Florida. His strong suit is motivating players. They played like smacked arse. It's a sad day for LSU football

No, but he did say he made slot of mistakes at Ole Miss and learned from them. He would not have been my choice for head coach. Though I don't believe Herman or Jimbo are the coaching legends people here were making them out to be either. Not spending huge money on a mediocre coach was probably the smartest thing to do. At least we will be in a position to go after that guy if he appears. No one wants to hear it, but why get bogged down with another huge buy out for the wrong coach.
