In other words Canada is one and done and we will back to Ensminger as OC

Grimes with no extension is done probably right after the A&M game and look for Mawae to get interview.

BBQ is tasting really good.

Get ready boys, we are back to the Joe Dean days of athletics that it took Emmert and Saban to stand up to and remove from the process.

But wait, I thought Orgeron earned the job, whether we liked it or not.

Maybe to worried about a mic somewhere else.

The good news is Ensminger got O the job. The bad news is Ensminger got O the job.

Ensminger deserves a lot of credit
He turned the backup QB from Purdue into a serviceable QB

No, you have got this all wrong.

KEEP talking - this car crash is turning to a train wreck that is turning into continents colliding. The destruction is escalating with the quickness.

Per Advocate article today:
"I wouldn't have this job if Steve Ensminger didn't do the job he did as Offensive Coordinator last year "

It seems like all O thinks about is how things impact him personally instead of how it impacts the team?
One thing about Miles is that he never seemed focused on the impact anything had on him personally. He always put his players and team first

O wants Emsminger to be his OC. Not getting along with Canada.

That's why every time a job opened up somewhere, Miles turned it into a raise/extension for himself.

At least other teams would’ve hired Miles

According to the following article. His base salary as TE's coach is $300k, and he got a $75k bonus for being the interim OC.

Ponamsky is scared of telling O the truth. He is there to stroke the ego and that is it. If he disagrees with O, he's too afraid to tell him.

I agree O appears out of touch with his priorities but Miles was no better only better packaged. The condition of this program is primarily Miles’ fault. O probably can’t fix it which will be his biggest problem.

This is nothing new with Orgeron.

I searched for the thread, couldn't find it. But there was an interview with O, about how he reacted to the team losing to Florida. Remember, beat Florida and LSU goes to the Sugar Bowl.

In the interview, O states that he found out he could still get the LSU job permanently, so he was very happy and excited about that. Said he told the team that the goals were still in sight.

I noted then, the only "goals in sight" were Ed's personal goals, nothing team related. And that given that the TEAM just lost out on going to the Sugar, he should have been a bit more disappointed.

The more I see, the more I understand- ain't none of this about the players, the program, the school, the tradition. This is all about O getting whatever he can hustle.

Ensminger did deserve a raise. Because he earned it. Yes, he actually earned it, unlike some other coaches I could mention.

Ensminger earned his raise because of his performance, not because he got CEO Hired. O really is a narcissist. This is the most insane shite I've ever heard from an LSU HC, what we've been hearing from O.

You didn't earn shite, O, whether you like it or not.

Funny. This is the same reason why he praised Ponamsky yesterday.

When "everyone else around you" is the reason you got the job, maybe you didn't actually deserve the job.

Actually, I thought the offense performed way better under him than it has under Canada.
