Coach O as a position coach?

Everyone keeps saying (insert name here) for DC and coach O as DL. Does anyone really think he will take a position job. He has been an HC before and was reasonably successful at SC.
It's either Coach O as DC or no coach O in my opinion.

Personal opinion but I don't believe he comes to LSU to be strictly a position coach

Make him say no to it. He and Pendergast have a good relationship, so he may be willing to work with it if we have Clancy as the DC

if the money is right he would. he misses coaching IMO. he's great on the weekly talk show stuff but I feel like he took a year off to regroup

Also from another angle, I couldn't see him staying longer than a year or two as a position coach. If he had success he would be looking to move upward quickly.

Coach O will be a great DC, the guy has had great defenses when he's been HC
