Willing to reserve judgment...

But, love that he was able to keep Aranda, land Canada, etc

But the greatest thing about yesterday's game was knowing it was over early.

Miles would have gone 3 and out running against 10 man fronts, putting pressure on the "D".

The game would have been in doubt until the last series of the 4th qtr.

I'm at least grateful for being able to enjoy the win early & excited for next season.

He better fix that OL, or get a new coach at some point. I think he's going to surprise many people, I just don't understand all the hate for him. Everything he's done has turned into gold. LSU could have beaten this team 56-6. O and staff really took it easy on offense. Very very very vanilla offense. No trick plays nothing spectacular and we dominated them all the way around. LSU could very well sign the best DL haul EVER at LSU. We will get the linebackers we want very soon, once that happens LSU will be every bit as good as Bama on D. Offense is about to make a huge turn around as well. I really believe LSU just made a smart hire, no matter what you say about that man, his love, passion, effort, that he will provide for LSU will resonate with these big time recruits. GT

I used to work with a number of Ok St guys and they had the same reaction to Miles leaving as we did with chavis. We had some good years, but who knows where we would be if someone competent had come in for those 05 and 06 seasons.

ETA: 05 woulda been tough for anyone.

CEO is definitely doing everything right so far. He is even getting better in his pressers. I can't help but like the guy but next year is going to be a tough run.

Ehh you have no way of knowing that. Les has destroyed Petrino before. So much the scum bag wouldn't shake his hand.

When LSU does blow a team out, stadium is fricking empty. So are those fans "enjoying" the games they aren't even watching?

The difference between O and jimbo is that O really loves and will do WHAT EVER it takes to get LSU turned around. For all the folks saying how will he build this program? He doesn't need to totally gut the entire program from A-Z he simply needs to tweak some things and he's doing a fine job. He knows LSU and La and he knows exactly what it needs to perform at a championship level and beat Bama, how will all those people look if this man becomes the Saban dragon slayer? I think he will and I'm also not worried about replacing coordinators if and when they leave because they will and that will say LSU had been very successful if that happens. He will go out and get the next Aranda, or Canada that's out there. The hire of ST consultant looks to be very smart as well, Mr April. I've already seen a huge improment. O will be the next Jimmy Johnson/Pete Carrol mark my words. He knows exactly what he's doing, time will prove my words gospel. Can't wait until all these idiots that said this was the worst hire in the history of CFB are exposed as no bodies that know nothing about football and what you need to be a successful program. Boy do we have some know it all nobody idiots in our fanbase.

Last time LSU won a national title, 51% of the players were from oos. He needs to go get the best players, just like bama, just like clemson, just like Ohio state.

The nice thing about coach O is that if we lose the game we at least tried to win. It's not like we are going to lose because of a Fred Flintstone offensive scheme. It was getting old hoping the defense could score because you knew Les wouldn't let the offense score.

Well he's doing just that, we have a real shot with Wilson, Chassion, Mathis, Bryant, and we could even get Allen back into the fold. Moses made a huge mistake IMO.

I'm not denying the recruiting. Anyone can recruit LSU, member?

I'm just saying this he knows LA and we got to keep it in the fam is bullshite way of thinking and has put LSU in numerous bad positions. See Johnny Jones.

Just watched the AA game and Myles looked like the best QB out there, he needs to get used to the speed of the game and gain some weight but this guy is going to have huge numbers in Canada's offense. If he can work his butt off now until Aug. gaining weight and could play at 210 to 220. Doubt he gains that much in that time but it could happen and he's going to be the most polished QB IMO on the roster. Experience will play a huge factor and he's way behind the 8ball there so he may need to sit a year and would probably be his best option but you never know? I know this LSU just improved that QB position exponentially with the addition of Brennen and Narcisse. Can't wait just can't wait. That secondary is going to be very very very scary with the depth we have and the new stars coming in. This and last years class will win LSU lots of games and get us back into the playoffs IMO.

No one that picks Bama has made a huge mistake. Jesus wtf are you smoking. They are a dynasty right now. Getting an offer from them should be an automatic toss the other offers in the trash for most of the positions on the field

It is so wonderful in this era of corporate sports to see a coach get excited about his team and experience true joy. I think that enthusiasm is contagious. Ed loves the game, school, team and players.
