It really is time to quit the Miles bashing. He has the best record of any coach in the SEC - including beating Alabama more than any coach. I believe it was time for him to go and Will support coach O as much as I did Les..... but for you Jimbo lovers- good luck as he is not doing well. Herman will go to Texas or USC...and our choices are reduced to Fedora, Coach O, or an up and coming newby. Chip Kelly couldnt beat the SEC at Oregon and hes been terrible in the pros..... Not to repeat myself, but Texas, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Georgia and Nebraska are still paying for their hiring mistakes. I know the Rant has a seat at the hiring table, thats why I am asking that you make a wise choice.

He's also lost to Bama as much as any other coach. This thread is unnecessary because you bringing up Les Miles right now is what you are criticizing other people for doing.

Oh shut up. We aren't those programs.

FSU settled with Bowden into what 4 and 5 loss seasons.. even worse than that.. until finally he stepped away and Jimbo immediately made the a national contender again.

LSU is not Tenn or whatever other bullshite you want to bring up.

An established LSU has ALREADY shown that even an average coach like Miles (AND YES he was very avg) can come in and maintain with the talent LSU receives once established.

So imagine an actual above average coach with this type of talent.. the sky is the limit.

Good job on maintaining Les, but we have underachieved a bit.

I'm glad you have everything figured out. What would we do without your knowledge?

Chip Kelly turned Oregon into a powerhouse with 3* players. Mostly 2* lineman and some 5'8 4* tailbacks here and there. What he could do with LSU level talent would be just unreal.

Their offenses were unreal. They hung 70 on Tennessee his last year there and took a very talented Auburn team to the 4th quarter in that national title game. Hell, LSU's best team in 25 years didn't dominate Oregon the way we dominated every other team that year.

Obviously my first choice would be Herman, but what Chip did at Oregon is nothing to scoff at in CFB.

USC

Why anyone would want to go there is a mystery. It's been chaotic since Pete Carroll left, and their worst mistake since then was not giving Coach O a chance to prove he's a good coach.

Love the incessant efforts by the Miles sycophants to save face with sentimental, pious laments. frickers espoused nonsensical positions for years, and now that events have proven them wrong beyond dispute, they don't even have grace enough to admit their error. Sad.

it will stop in due time. this is a new thing; a Miles less team. and this fan base is seeing something they haven't seen since Miles arse hole buddy was hired; an offense that makes drives and score td's. this past game really did show how lousy cam camaron was and how his boss let it slide.
