We can critize Coach O on many different things but one thing he has been excellent at has been use of time-outs, play-calling at the end of halves. To have time-outs to burn at the end of halves is HUGE. Coach has been excellent in this regard. Night and day from Miles. Geaux Tigers!

I’m not a coach o fan but his decision to punt and pin auburn inside the 5 was a huge call. Worked out great for us. Very pleased with today’s effort.

Agree. It's not what I worry about anymore. Awareness seems to be there

Well clock management should be a very basic thing a coach should understand and execute effectively, so yeah, I'm glad CEO does a good job at it.

And yeah, the punt was the right move given the way our defense was playing.

I don't believe Orgeron has some deep rooted clock management issues or anything, but the end of this game was poorly managed from a time out standpoint. It didn't end up hurting us, but essentially icing our own kicker was poor.

He had to call that one - the play clock was about to expire and we would've gotten a delay of game.

Or we woulda rushed the kick.

I think the icing thing is overrated anyway.

Difficult to ice a kicker in 90 degree heat.

That's not what happened. The players were lining up and the play clock was down to 1. It was the best used time out of the game. That 5 yards could have cost us big time

I always felt LSU could pay me 100k under Miles just to call time outs and I could win us 1 extra game a year. It was really disheartening at times...

A certain someone that so many want back never managed to figure out this basic thing.

No disrespect, @PotatoChip, but they could've just as easily hired someone off the street for $8.65/hr to call them for Les and won us an extra game per year.

Please tell me you went to the game and didn't see it on TV. If you watched it on TV you post is unacceptable. I will give you a pass if you were actually at the game.
