CLM and staff need to be trawling the mid-majors and JUCO for a couple of QBs

Decent experienced performers at a lower level would do a much better job than what we're seeking. I can't take two more years of waiting for "the light to come on" with this kid. And if he's keeping AJ on the bench, I can't even imagine how bad AJ must be.

Bring in two QBs from good DII or JUCO programs and be done with it. They could probably be serviceable in our O within a couple of weeks of practice.

What is your opinion on Justin McMillan and Danny Etling, you know, the other QBs we have on the roster who haven't taken snaps yet? Giving up on them already?

Good...go get them. We have one year left with LF so sell out to win it all.

Since I have heard anything about them, I'm not all that optimistic. And CLM's offensive coordinators haven't built a single decent QB from scratch. I like the Mettenberger model. Find some hungry kid with tools and tweak him a little bit.

Here's your problem. Cameron is not Fisher. Cameron is not Crowton. Cameron is not Kragthorpe. And Cameron is not Studrawa.

He took a marginally successful and immensely talented junior in 2012 and turned him into an NFL QB in one year. Then he tried to make chicken salad out of chicken shite for the last two years. Let's see what he does with a junior quarterback in his second year of starting before rushing to any sort of judgment.

This clique that likes to give up on quarterbacks after one year and move on to the next model is infuriating.

Harris was doing just fine prior to November. Then his OL met some DL's that crushed them and gave BH little to no time to throw. Last night he wasn't that good but, no doubt, receivers let him down with drops, too.
What this Offense is going to need is either better OLinemen or marked imprvement from personnel in there now.
As for QB's - I'll be quite happy to get a recommit from FFranks. That kid is special.

Prospect Breakdown: Ferguson is a natural playmaker at the quarterback position who trusts his ability to put the ball where it needs to be and he will press the action. He has good arm strength and can fit the ball into tight spaces. Accuracy may have been a point of concern coming out of high school, but hs completion rate in 2015 is on an elite of the elite type of level. Not a dual-threat, but is mobile enough to roll the pocket, work outside the pocket, or make a play on the ground when a play breaks down. Should be able to come in and make a big impact at the P5 lev

Harris doesn't look like a first year starter. He looks like a guy who doesn't know how to play QB. And I didn't say pill his scholly. But if the backups we have weren't good enough to come off the bench during that shite-show last night, we need to bring new, ready talent. Otherwise we'll be having the same damned converstionwe've been having since 2008 next year (save 2013 and part of 2012).

Please list all the times that Les Miles has pulled his starting QB due to poor performance and inserted the backup. I'll wait.

This is a dumb exaggeration. We should just let Harris play the next 2 years.

Exactly! People probably don't realize this but Arkansas fans burned Brandon Allen's truck to ashes 2 years ago.

Brandon Allen RS SO
49.6% 1552 yards (6.0 ypa) 13 TDs 10 ints

Brandon Allen RS SR
65.1% 3125 yards (9.1 ypa) 29 TDs 7 ints
