They used this game as measuring stick. I mean Dabo was almost crying after the game. He now feels that Clemson has arrived. It meant a lot more to them, hence the outcome.

Yeah, and Miles was pissed answering the lollipop questions from the press.

Wasn't it fun back when LSU used to be motivated for games? Miles doesn't seem to give a shite about bowl games any more. Not even the national championship game. But I guess if I got a raise and an extension for taking a preseason #1 team to the Peach Bowl, I might decide to just mail it in like he does.

So did LSU lose their motivation before or after they lost a 2 possession lead? Did Clemson suddenly get motivated when they lost their best player and spotted you 7 points?

I just need to get this straight so I can remember in future conversations about the game.

The QB played outstanding, what a tough talented guy he and #6 were absolutely incredible. Gutsy bunch in the Orange last nite.

Bottom line is your team barely beat an unmotivated LSU team. Congrats on your chicken trophy.

Dude, Coach Miles plays for National Championships. This Chicken Bowl game meant nothing to these LSU Tigers -- they play to win Crystal.

This was an exhibition game. Coach made the right decision to let the kids have some fun.

Nuk Hopkins (#6) may have played his way into a 1st round draft pick last night. It will all count on how he performs at the combine.

If he can run a 4.55 or faster, he'll probably go.

We knew that would be the excuse all along. Doesn't make a frick to me.

Your team was physically beat on the lines of scrimmage (at least on offense), and you couldn't move the ball on a team that NC State racked up 600 yards of offense on.

That's not motivation. That's getting your arse beat, regardless of the score.

But tell yourself whatever it takes to make you feel better.

If you're here looking for respect or some sort of validation, you are going to be sorely disappointed. The country is talking about how poor LSU's offensive play calling was, not how Clemson has "arrived."

Quit with the "Clemson played an unmotivated team" talk. That unmotivated team in LSU kept dropping like flies the 4th, steady cramping up & sucking air.

Had WR's Sammy or Bryant played it could've been real nasty. Also stop with your QB excuses, we had 3 starters out in our secondary.

Own up to it, you got worked by Clemson.

Wow. Asses beat? How many times during the game were you preparing for your loss? Our inept play calling gave you the game. The refs helped to scoot it along in your favor.

Your D impressed all of us. The brought pressure and we didn't have an answer for it like most coaches who make $4 mil would be able to do. That's why we hate our coach for sticking with his BBQ buddy rather than hiring a real OC like LSU deserves. Sorry, facts.

You guys have a serious case of tiny wiener syndrome. Do you think any tears would have been shed ( by LSU ) had the FG gone wide? Seriously, we're discussing how bad this LSU team was and you guys act like it was a BCS game.

God some of you Miles' apologists are just sickening. Just face the fact Miles was outcoached once again and lost to an inferior team instead of making these retarded arse excuses, its embarrassing.

Yes Clemson played better than us last night. They were more prepared last night because they were motivated to beat one of the big boys. We on the other hand don't get up for the ACC in the chicken bowl.
