Clemson beat Bama the way Bama has beaten LSU for years

That subpar QB did make plays, two pretty huge ones. Also, they weren't stopping the run very well in the first half and if Scarborough doesn't get hurt who knows what would have happened. Clemson beat Bama because of their passing game with a very excellent dual-threat QB. That is not how Bama has beaten LSU for years.

Bama would have run clock out with Scarbrough and Clemson would not have had 2 minutes

Even though Hurts made a few good plays, Bama needed just a little more at that position.
Clemson wore Bama's D out with the HUNH, and it would have been worse if not for the momentum stopping reviews.
Watson was the difference in the game, and it was a perfect storm for them.
That was by far the best game I've watched this year.

Time of possession was the key to the game. Bama's defense was gassed in the fourth quarter and Clemson took advantage of their weakness.
I agree that it was like watching Bama beat LSU on an annual basis. Maybe we can learn a few things from this and give them a game in 2017.
