If Jacob Hester is going to be a starting FB in the NFL, I would imagine that Charles Scott would fill the role even more so.

mos def.

and as far as being unselfish is concerned, thats probobly because he knows no matter what he'll be drafted late first day early second day and end up playing fb.

Or maybe just that he is genuinely unselfish and wants to win?

Very smart of him because he may easily be a NFL Fullback

I think his running is even more effective when he plays from the full back position. When he is at FB the other team has to worry about him up the middle and KW up the middle or around the end. Sorta hard to concentrate on primarily stuffing the middle then.

He better volunteer to play FB. If not, he'll be on the bench now that KW has the hot hand.

1. He already volunteered to play fullback. I remember reading about this long before this writeup and KW's "hot hand"....

2. While the percentage of carries may skew in KW's favor (60/40 not an unreasonable guess), CS will still have his number called plenty while the O-line gets its act together. Miles never gives any one ball carrier 80%+ of the touches.

Doubt it. He's going to have a luxurious life style even at the fricking league minimum.

well, you and id be happy to make 400,000 a year, but with cs, leavinng after last year vs this year could be millions of dollars difference.

could be but you don't know how he would have graded in the NFL; Leinhart is a big example that people claim cost himself $$$ by staying but its not like his arm got weaker his senior year - IMO he would've graded out the exact same way and been drafted in a similar position. Same true for Chuck; we can sit here on a message board all day and claim this guy's a 1st, 2nd, 3rd rounder and 99% of the time we're wrong.

Spoken like a true leader.

Perhaps he learned through the example set by former Tigers who could have left early but didn't - and were integral in winning a national championship (like Dorsey).

...or maybe he's not a complete academic washout like many other Juniors who declare.
