henry thomas and darell phillips

best noseguards in LSU history back when we played a 3-4 front.

booger mcfarland also but he wasn't always a nosegaurd as we played a 4-3 with him. unless he was in a under or over look he was a DT and not a NG.

I don't know enough about aranda but the best man is the best man ,size makes you a easy target, speed can make you hard to find and block ,so betweeners can work just fine !

He needs a NT that is 330 lbs at least. The NT has to be able to command double teams on every play. That way it's always an advantage for our fast LB's to make plays without hands on them. They need to be able to flow from sideline to sideline without a hand on them.

After reading this, me and my chub have decided to increase his sack total 16%. I still have no faith in our offense in months that begin with N, but our defense is gonna help us with field position like the 2011 season. That alone might be enough to boost the coach's confidence in our offense to be more aggressive.

Exactly. Aranda is just like everyone else. You go with the best man. Sometimes that means a 350 pounder, other times it may be a 290 pounder, or somewhere in between. But of course bigger is generally better at NT. Thats' why we had Godcheaux before, but now that T-Val is here, Godcheaux goes to DE.
