You would think...

Disappointed about the Cotton Bowl predicition...but not surprising.

Those Texans can't themselves enough of Johnny Football.

are you kidding me? duh, maybe the players want to go? maybe getting the extra practice is good for next years team? maybe the SEC requires it?

sure, the bcs bowl system subsidizes the weak conferences and will allow kent state or uconn to go to the big bowls. but LSU is not to good to go to the chick-fil-a bowl. the owner of that company is a big SEC supporter and it pays to keep the SEC name in atlanta (in addition to the seccg) or the ACC will move in. it just might be a hell of a game. i recommend you go. atlanta is a great city and fun to visit.

A&M is going to the Capital One Bowl, which selects first.

The Cotton Bowl will likely select us, unless Alabama loses the SEC Championship game.

Prime Time, New Years Eve, in Atlanta.

What's wrong with that?

You got it Grandad. Plus playing Clemson is not a bad match up. The players should be up for it.

It was just a rant...

More out of frustration in seeing them get passed over for the Cotton or Outback.

To be honest, I was really hoping Florida would lose...

It will be a good tuneup for the 2013 LSU team. Get a good feel for the place. Adjust to the turf.

Then come back next December and pick up our SEC crown.

I assumed that.

I was joking because there have been multiple threads about this already.

I think the CFA is a good bowl, but Atlanta in January is hit or miss with the weather.

I don't about them being a propaganda machine for Saban, but they sure can be for some other causes.

When we played Miami there in 2005, it was #9 vs. #10...sometimes it just works out like this.

It was more just a rant out of frustration over the potential of being passed over.

Hey, I went to the CFA Bowl when the Tigers beat the shite out of Miami...had a great time and couldn't have been happier to see the 'Canes get their asses handed to them!

People tend to forget that under Hallman ad DiNardo, we were happy to get to the Indy Bowl in Shreveport !

We've become spoiled by Coach Miles's awesome awesomeness, sprinkled with greatness and topped with genius.

LSU v. Clemson will be a good game. I'll bet it ends up being a close game.
