I froze my nuts off that night.

I was there. Damn is was cold. Michigan State players wanted to fight because they said LSU player(s) called them N word.

I was there. 5 years old. First LSU game I ever went to

I was there, great game. And it was cold

That's bullshite. It was either 19 degrees or 24 degrees when they played MSU. Nice clear night like you said but cold still the same. You are right though the ND game was cold too because it was wet in the air with howling wind. Some drunk person ran across the field in a purple or gold speedo and the cops had to chase him down.

In. I was about 10 seats down from that shirtless, painted sparty fan right in the middle of an LSU section that made the paper the next day. Dad was so excited to actually get to see an LSU game where they sold alcolhol. He had a blast.

7-4-1 (4-3-1)
That season brought back the magic. 7-4-1 was magical.
ETA: ... and it was

I miss ties. Overtime blows.

Had I squeezed my arse into a medium shirt and went to the dome, I would have owed humanity an apology.
On second thought, for the amount of money I coughed up for that ticket, he owes me an apology for laying that turd of a football game.

I forgot about that idiot. I also remember Kennison and Faulk going off on MSU.
I also fondly remember LSU fans yelling at MSU fans telling them to Geaux Home Yankees in the parking lot. I really preferred the times when LSU fans were a lot rowdier.

I was there. It was my 2nd year in Tiger Band and it was a great trip, considering the previous year's full band trip was to the Auburn pick-six game. I remember it was freezing and Condon and LeBlanc set up in front of the band and we ragged Condon all game. He had been saying a lot of negative stuff about the band, so we let him have it. Good times...

I was in TGBFTL. That was my junior year, after 2 bad years of Curley. That game was soooo much fun. The Tigers played great, and after the game, we probably played for another 30 mins to fans who went out on the field. Some of the players even came back from the locker room and joined in. It was a big party.
It's cheesy and all, but I won't forget singing the alma mater at the end. EVERYONE still out there sang as loud as they could. After all the losing, that game meant a lot to the people there. The Peach Bowl the next year was certainly a step up, but the I-Bowl was special for its own reasons.
I also got together with my wife, who was also in TGBFTL, that weekend after hanging out during the trip. So, it was a memorable game on many fronts.

Was a ball boy on LSU sideline courtesy of my dad who was a long time member of Independence Bowl selection committee and one time chairman. Easily one of the greatest times of my life. Crazy how excited we were for the independence bowl back then lol. Even made the tv multiple times and for a 15 yr old that was pretty cool as well. Good times

I was there. If I remember right Eddie Kennison went beast mode.
And Faulk. LSU had so much more speed than MSU.
