Yes, it looks bad for A & M. Hopefully, they'll settle soon and pony up that money to LSU.

frick a settlement. I want sworn testimony that the NCAA can't ignore. Chavis and Scumlin are about to get trucked like Howard Matthews.

Battle of the Baton Rouge Barristers
LSU's Attorney - Bob Barton
After obtaining his college degree from LSU, Barton was highly recruited by all of the major law schools. Unfortunately for LSU, Mike Archer's final year as LSU's head coach caused the talented composite 5* recruit to choose the University of Georgia School of Law where he received All-American honors and led his Moot Court team to undefeated records in consecutive seasons. Nationally acclaimed for his devastating briefs and incisive oral arguments, Barton proved to be a dual threat, obtaining an MBA at the same time he received his law degree.
After passing the Louisiana bar with a record-shattering score, Barton was selected with the first overall pick by Taylor, Porter, Brooks & Phillips in the 1994 draft. Barton earned early honors for his ripping cross-exams, masterful pleadings, and his deft use of discovery. His talent was recognized as one of Baton Rouge’s “Top Forty Under 40” in 2003.
An internationally recognized legal expert, Barton gives back to the community through lectures to lawyers, law students, and business groups on various topics related to his practice areas. His legal acumen is showcased as an adjunct professor of law at Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where he teaches a prestigious and highly sought course on Sports Law.
Chavis's Attorney - Jill Craft
Craft received her college degree from Indiana University and her law degree from Louisiana State University.

Chavis isn’t backing down after Friday’s ruling. He plans to continue the fight against his former employer, Craft said in a statement released to The Advocate. Athletic administrators and football coaches will likely be deposed during the football season, which begins in two weeks.

If the next hearing doesn't go his way... and it goes to a 3rd one, well I think we all know how that will go.
