@MattMoscona: #LSU will modify it's rotation this weekend vs. USC: Poche (Th), Bain (Fr), Lange (Sat). Presumably to give Lange full rest @1045espn

Just sit Lange for the weekend if we win the first two

Most likely. Of course, there's also the side benefit that if we drop one of the first two to USCe, we can treat Saturday like a championship game with Lange on the mound.

If we clinch everything before Saturday, I wouldn't throw Lange at all this weekend. Let him start the first game in Hoover and then see him again in the regionals.

Looks like that's the plan. I don't hate it.

I wouldn't mind if Poche & Lange threw a combined 8 innings in Hoover.

Nah, let's go all out and dogpile. Who cares about a regional when you can win the week before?

Hell, I'm ok with Bouman getting a start in Hoover

If we have the SEC wrapped up, he can pitch every game as far as I'm concerned.

Bain throws 67 pitches in 6.0 IP giving up 1 run in the regional and gets pulled with a 5-1 run lead for Bouman...book it

If it works out that way, it would be the right call. Then let Lange start the first SEC tourney game Wednesday. He ends up with a week and a half rest after his last two pre-NCAA starts.

I would rather start Poche in the first game in the regional against the 4th seed and let Lange pitch against the 2/3 seed winner in the second game. If PM is feeling real confident and the 4th seed is not very good, he may start Bain in the opener.
