I think their chances will be high, they definitely have a great chance of winning but there are a few teams that are better.

How did you come by this info? Is it because LSU is the 4 seed?

It's all about The Pitching, Lange, Poche, Walker, Hess and Newman have to be Lights Out. The Bats should be okay, as long as they don't go Arctic Cold

I think the real key to victory will be scoring more points than our opponents in each game

Clearly it's 1/64 = 1.5625% * 4 (national seed multiplier) = 6.25% * (19-8) (Deichmann HRs - years since last natty) = 68.75%.

In summary they definitely have a 68.75% chance of winning it all.

I would prefer we scored runs. Not sure how points will help.

In baseball it's not called scoring points.

It's called scoring goals.....

My calculations put us at about a 26.81% chance of winning it all.

Good Job Cold Cous Cous its about 14-1. Which is probably pretty close to what Vegas would have it.

Wish drunk me could go back in time and wait on those odds instead of going for 7/1 preseason.

If it was 7/1 for LSU to win it all in preseason then its probably closer to 7-1 in Vegas now.

Where did you find that preseason line?
The more that I think about it, LSU is a huge favorite to get to the super regionals and will be a pretty big home favorite to win the Super.
That leaves 1/8 in Omaha with the hottest team in America if they make it and a good seed.
