It appears that the most likely day game will be Ole Miss on CBS.

This is assuming LSU and Bama likely fill the night spot on November 5th.

Only other chance is Mizzou but Tennessee/Georgia would be most likely candidate for CBS that day.

Of course there is the dreaded chance at a 11am sec network game.

This would put the Mizzou/Southern Miss South Alabama games into contention. But since it's SEC Network and not the old Jeff Pilot days I would assume it's more likely those end up at night or LSU on ESPN2 vs a Mizzou.

LSU has been getting pretty good draws regarding night games the past 2 years. I'd like to think this is the new norm for us because of the SEC Network.

Hopefully A&M-Alabama gets the CBS nod over our Ole Miss game.

All non-CBS home games the last 2 years (with the SEC Network in place) have been at night, even the rent-a-wins. Not counting USCe last year, since that was technically a road game. I think that pattern should continue this year. Since the Bama game is a virtual lock to be at night, Ole Miss has the highest risk of being a day game, but I feel good about the others being at night, 6:00 kickoff or later.

Of course things could change depending upon how the season goes, but LSU/OM at 2:30 looks like a near certainty. The only other candidates that week would be Bama/A&M and AU/Ark.

Bama is likely out at 2:30 because they will have played Tenn. the week before. That game will almost assuredly be on CBS. It happens, but I doubt CBS puts Bama at 2:30 back to back weeks. AU/Ark could be a better matchup once we get to late Oct. (hopefully it isn't), but on paper LSU/OM is the better game at this point.

I agree with you that every other home game will be at night. I think CBS has already announced that 11/5 will be a double-header day, and there is nothing on schedule that rivals Bama/LSU. That will be your night game

EDT: Can we PLEASE sticky this thread to hopefully avoid the 5,000 threads to come asking if "the game against _____ will be a night game?"
