Might be Germans, but thought it was pretty interesting. Hoping he can find his way back. Remarkable how far he has come.

Warning, some graphic images in the video.

It breaks your heart to see a kid who has the talent and tools have this happen to him, and then all of the work and effort to rehab just to walk, much less play pro ball. Then contrast him to someone like Todd Marajuanavich. Life is unfair sometimes. Best of luck to him, he's a champion, no matter if he never plays another down of football, or another inning of baseball.

this....bigtime. one would hope that LSU/CLM could find a spot for him on staff if his dream never becomes material. take nothing for granted, peeps.

Did you watch the ESPN documentary on that guy? He probably did more work before he ever put on a helmet that most people do in their life. It just burnt him out.

I think he was living his Dad's dream, not his. I don't think all of that work was his choice. Anyway, maybe not the best example.

Thanks for posting.

I am a huge Chad Jones fan. His attitude is amazing. I really hope he gets picked up next year by some team. Come on Saints pick him up.

It would be a great story for the home town kid to make his come back with the Saints...
