CFN came out with their list of top 10 RB position battles (along with 5 more on another page).

LINK

LSU is not on either list. I know that Hill is our #1, but Blue is definitely going to at least push him if he is back to his early season form.

That seems like a much more riveting positional battle than at least a couple of the so-called top 10 position battles offered by CFN.

All the teams on the list are teams that lost their no doubt number 1, top tier running back. LSU didn't lose that.

Blue is a relative unknown. He hasn't proved he can do what he does against SEC competition. We know how good he is, the rest of the country will just have to find out during the season.

You should inform the coaches since I don't think they know.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Blue start a decent amount of games(being the elder), but I would guess that Hill might end up w/ more touches in the backfield.

#3 Cal didn't lose their #1

In the more category (11-15):

Arizona State only lost one of its two co-#1's

Miami didn't lose their #1

I believe our storyline is much more riveting in that we have Hill who is currently vying for the top spot along with the former co-#1 in Blue.

Blue is coming off of major knee surgery. As of this moment, the coaches aren't looking at him as the #1. It will take lots of reps for the coaches to see how he is progressing from such a devastating injury. Which is why I think the story is very interesting. Hill has made a statement to be the #1, Blue a former #1 is out there showing what he can do. A very fun offseason RB situation.

A RB situation other schools could only dream about having!

There is no RB battle at LSU because regardless of who "starts" the other backs will get their share of carries. Hill is likely #1, but if Blue is healthy, he is #1a, followed closely by Hilliard. All 3 will get carries, unlike other schools who pick a #1 back and ride him.

Umm, they lost their top TWO running backs that accounted for over 1600 yards and 8 TDs in 2012, so yes, they most definitely lost their number one RB.

Blues a good back, but come on, Hill grabbed the starting spot with authority last year.

Hill can run inside and take a hit. He has more carries in his career than Blue does. In my opinion there is no position battle. Blue is a part time back unless you want him to get injured again. If Blue is forced to be a full time back he won't make mid season.

How the hell do you know this? You don't. All reports from practice are that Blue looks great. Go make shite up somewhere else.
