I think the Tigers come out firing hot in the first half. We capitalize on a turnover but shank a field goal. LSU 17- MSU 6
In the second half, the Tigers come out with a long grueling first drive then play keep away until the fourth. Edwards-Helaire shows out in a Shyrone Carey fashion with the absence of Williams. Chark has 20+ yrd punt return. MSU gets a fourth quarter touchdown to make the game seem closer than it was. Final: LSU 30 - MSU 16
Hot Take: Redzone offense efficiency and special teams (i.e., field goals)will still be a concern, but the OLine shows improvement minus some missed assignments from disguised blitz packages. Freshman on Defense continue to impress and the Donte Jackson debate continues.

Everyone predicting a 3 touchdown margin of victory are going to be the same ones in the game thread calling for O to be fired, Etling to be benched and many other sound assessments when we're up by 3-6 points in the 4th.

What else should we do if we lose to miss state?

We should melt if we lose. Miss State is arguably one of the bottom half of our schedule

Aranda is just too good.

All you have to do is take the offensive film from the BYU game and then the film from the Chatt game, mix it up the way only Canada could and you have our offensive game plan for State with quite a few more wrinkles mixed in, and all tendencies broken.
So it will actually be those two games in reverse with a few wrinkles mixed in. I wonder if State can view film in reverse? If so it will be a close one, if not I see a nice win for the Tigers. 34-16

Btw I saw that you was pretty close on Etlings stats for the week. Minus the INT. Not bad.
What do you think they will be this week?
I say 18-28 220 3 TD no INTs. I think he will get plenty of short throws again this week like the BYU game. But also have to throw deep and will miss on a few. I also think we will have to throw the football near the redzone much more in this game then previous so his TDs go up. Forgot the yardage

MSU has always had a strong run defense and a porous pass defense. Although this year it seems their run D isn't as strong as in years past. Canada will need to open it up and expose them, if we can't put up 25+ on this team then are likely in for a very long season.
