No wonder Bama beats them...Bama starts out the game a month ahead of them

WTF. If LSU can't beat Jawja and Ole Urine, I'm not really sure how they could beat Bama or UF

That's not how college football works.

- Ole Miss is the last game in a 5 week stretch of SEC games.
- UGA is damn good and on the road.
- LSU has had success in Tuscaloosa.
- A&M isn't going to beat LSU in TS.

so OM wins 6 games, half of which are against nobodies, but they beat us while being 1-5 at the time

Ole Miss usually plays us very well and they're got some talent.

We're one of the games they circling on the schedule, but they're not a huge game for us.

And, the biggest factor is that this year they are the 5th SEC game we play in a row, and it's easy to believe that we'll be emotionally flat for them, and the game is on the road in Oxford.

Even if we win, most logical people realize that this is a very dangerous game.

If they are correct this place will go ballistic when Bama goes because they have 1 loss to LSU while LSU has 2 losses because it had to play Ga.

LSU is 3-2 the last 5 meetings against Ole Miss. Only 2011 was a blowout. In fact, the other 2 LSU wins were both by 6 points. Vegas had Ole Miss as the favorite this year when the lines were released. I don't think LSU loses, but it's not a prediction that you can just laugh off and not discuss.

Last time they played us close in BR, we went to Oxford the next year and sandblasted them by 7 touchdowns.

Since 2000, LSU is 10-3. It is all about perspective.

JEEBUS!!

Okay?

There is no need to "convince" me. I am not PLAYING in the game. I can 'overlook' them at will.

I posit that IF LSU beats Bama, UF, and A&M...they will NOT lose to Ole Miss.

Now, had the prediction been that LSU went 8-4 and lost to Bama, UGA, UF and Ole Miss...I'd say "maybe". Simply because that implies a strugglingish season.

I simply reject a team good enough to win those others are losing to Ole Miss.

YOU are free to think otherwise. I'll not try to talk you out of it

Have you forgotten about our 2007 team? Would you have believed we would walk through that schedule and lose to Kentucky and Arkansas?

For everybody laughing about the predicted OM loss, think back to our 07 losses

You likely did not PREDICT those losses ahead of the season.

Any game CAN be lost. But, if THAT is the criteria, why not suggest LSU will go 3-9 with losses to all the "real teams"...because EVERY game can be justified by the "think of the '07 losses' method.

CAN LSU lose to Auburn? Sure. Will I PREDICT that ...no way

+1 I'd like to think there are corners of the internet where this doesn't have to be explicitly argued.

You laugh, but it actually wouldn't surprise me. LSU lost to Kentucky in 2007.
