I'm not sure why they don't put 2010's in there.

No way.

no. good on paper because of the names on the roster, but they weren't a dominant unit yet. they had their moments, but they weren't quite "there" yet. hell, Hatcher started most of the games at safety.

once '03 got the lineup sorted out after the first few games, they were pretty much nasty the remainder of the year. they just fit so well together. Web and TDaniels taking away the outside stuff and finishing 1-2 in PBUs nationally. Hunt over the top, Laron wreaking havoc everywhere in between. NFL caliber guys in Blue and Prude as the nickel/ dime. about the only knock was a lack of safety depth.

I remember seeing something in 2011 in December that any pass thrown 20 yards in the air was intercepted more often than completed against the Tiger DBs that year.

He isn't even the best safety on that team. Sean Taylor was on another level talent wise.

03 was helped tremendously by having one of,if not the, best defensive line in lsu history. 2010 didnt.

This. What's crazy is that Miami secondary likely had the two best safeties to ever play the game.
