His wife is hotter than anything in Bogie's so I doubt it.

his tunnel screen for a TD against arky in 2002 was amazing

Great play by good ol' #81.

That game still makes me sick to think about though.

Fun to think that they all happen to be part of a Saints team at one point in their careers, but not at the same time. Throw Coach O in there and that is 4 former saints in that room on a Wednesday.

Backup QB job must be the life.
You can make some serious money as a backup QB for 10 years, not to mention the NFL pension you get.

And you don't leave the game hurt.

That catch happened about 50 feet from me. I was extremely drunk that day, though, and don't remember much.

Just curious as to why SG was picked to speak out of all the former LSU players out there. He went out of his way to promote Saban, making it a point to sit on the bama sidelines after getting his game tickets through Saban. This according to SG himself. Having said that, that catch against UGA will go down in LSU history.

My vote goes to Josh Reed on that one. Sky5 was pretty dang fun to watch too though.

Realized something listening to play-by-play guys during TAMU v Bama game...

Saban has been bringing in former players, some in NFL, to be on scout team.

So while he's got former players on the practice field and interacting, which I'm sure coincides with some recruit visits when possible, our coach was limiting access.

Hope to soon see Skylar playing Dieter with Tolliver covering him during run through.

It is good to see them there. Hell, many of these kids thought of some of these players as heros and wore jersey's growing up. Other than the benefits of such things... it's just fricking cool.

Slip screen too.
IMO, Miles didn't take advantage of Green's skills in 2005. He seemed to disappear at times and it wasn't Jimbo's fault.
It was unfortunate that Skylar had the high ankle sprain in 2004 and probably rushed back into action too soon.

I would've thought so too, but when asked about using Blake Sims as scout QB to play Knight getting ready to play TAMU he said something along the lines of "we have a guy", meaning they have a guy that found a loophole. This was discussed by the commentator guys (don't recall who they were). Apparently it has been going on a while, how long I'm not sure. They also joked (maybe?) that T. Richardson will be the scout team LF7 this week.

Saban Using Blake Sims on Scout Team (CBS Sports)
Wouldn't be surprised if this guy is none other than Mark Emeret.

If have talked to some former players that played for Saban. They respected the guy but didn't really like him. But they would go through a brick wall because of that respect. I have also talked to some former Miles players that loved him but didn't respect the way he went about things. They would NOT go through that same brick wall for him. Just sayin...
