per Ross Dellenger

#CBS delaying its decision until after LSU-BAMA game is played. On Sunday, November 8, we will know which game, either LSU-ARK or Bama-MSU will be played at 2:30pm. The one CBS doesn't pick will be played on ESPN and will be a night game (6pm kick most likely).

So we need to lose so we can get the night game.

Gordy Rush just said that if LSU wins this game. We are likely to be on CBS for the Arkansas & Ole Miss game.

SEC just tweeted we'll either be at 2:30 or 6:15, and Bama-Miss St. will get the other time slot. I'm assuming the winner of our game this week will be 2:30

I'm cool with November 2:30 games. We're under the lights by the 4th quarter. Also if at 2:30 at Ole Miss I think it's better than playing there at night.

Yeah, me too. You would think that Bamm-State, on paper, would be the better match-up even with a Bama loss.

True, which makes me wonder if CBS would want to put LSU on 3 weeks in a row? Also, Bama (win or lose) vs. MSU seems to be the better match up. Assuming State beats Mizzou this week, then you're looking at a game between two (likely) top 25 teams each with, at most, only 2 losses. On the other hand, Ark is at Ole Miss this week and would likely come into the LSU game with a losing record.

Really, the only reason not to put Bama/MSU at 2:30 is because if they do, it will be Bama's 5th time on CBS this season (the max allowed). That means no Iron Bowl for CBS. Even though AU is bad this year the Iron Bowl still has national appeal. If Bama/MSU is the CBS game next week then you can likely mark LSU/A&M as a 2:30 start.

It's like the playoffs winner gets the pleasure of having Vern call their game two weeks in a row!

And if that's the case, A&M will be at night. CBS can't have same team on 4 consecutive weeks.

I'd say Bama @ MSU is a much better matchup than this year's Iron Bowl and probably the best SEC game of Week 11.

The Egg Bowl and A&M @ LSU are better games for that week as well. If I had my pick of the litter for broadcasting purposes I'd go with one of those two for Week 13.

LSU-Ole Miss is a mortal lock for 2:30 regardless of what happens the next two weeks. Half the conference essentially gets the week off from the SEC office to play craptacular opponents. The rest of the SEC games on Nov. 21:

Charleston Southern at Alabama
Arkansas at Miss. State
Idaho at Auburn
Florida Atlantic at Florida
Georgia Southern at Georgia
Charlotte at Kentucky
Tennessee at Missouri
The Citadel at South Carolina
Texas A&M at Vandy

Hope it's 2:30, cuz if it's at night i'm not going to a wedding, so i guess it doesn't matter to me, it's more i hope for the idiots getting married Saturday nights sake.

Bunch of dumbass's. Could have gotten married on a Friday night, or the last 2 saturdays.
