Can we make a deal for the board this week?

It isn't ULL or U of Louisiana(It'll never be that) and call the Cajuns what they really are and that is USL?

They can call themselves whatever they want... it won't get them any wins this weekend and they'll still be from Lafayette.

Don't try to act like its not a big deal to yall. The topic gets 2 or 3 days worth of shows devoted just to it on Lafayette sports radio every year. Not to mention the hundreds of other times it is mentioned.

I don't get why some LSU fans get mad at the whole "UL" or "Louisiana" thing. You know we can't have both titles right? But I guess we've whined over worse.

I don't live in Lafayette anynore, so I don't have a clue what is on sports radio, but since you seem to follow them more closely maybe you're the expert here

It's because there are two schools, University of Louisiana - Lafayette (ULL) and University of Louisiana - Monroe (ULM), that are both the "University of Louisiana" (UL). You shouldn't allow one of them to claim the title and especially not based on who did it first.
