If you were told way back in 1998 that our state of football would be where it is today, everyone would be pissing their pants with joy!

If you are not concerned where the program is going then you are as dense as Miles appears to be. Change need to happen if he makes the change then I will sit down shut up and watch if it is good enough.

Hey! I never said we didn't need some changes. I would love an offense that is equal to our defense. And I think the program is solid and the future looks great.

Yep and if you were told that your aunt had balls, she would be your uncle!

LSU 90's football is in the past, were any of those coaches in the 90's the 4th highest paid coach in the country at the time? Let me help you, no they weren't.

The pay of Les Miles means the expectation are to be in the top 4 teams in the country, anything less is not acceptable. It is called pay for performance. Do you think Les Miles feels he should give back any of his pay for not finishing in the top 5? Guarantee you he feels no way. So why should we feel any other way than he needs to keep our program where it belongs in the top 5.

Gosh, it's almost as if expectations change and it's stupid to use poor performance in the past as justification to ignore any problems in the present. This stupid argument doesn't work in any other facet of life.

Just because I lived in a shitty apartment once doesn't mean that I'm happy when the dishwasher breaks in my new house. Just because I drove a 15 year old honda accord when I was 16 doesn't mean that I completely overlook any issues my shiny new car has. Just because I used to eat like McDonald's doesn't meant hat I don't care if my steak is overcooked.

I'm sure HAPPY with the improvements in my life, but that doesn't mean that I'll over look any problems just because things aren't as bad as they used to be. That's an incredibly stupid metric by which to judge anything.

Great point, be you'll never convince some people. There is NO WAY our talent of the 90's even comes close to what we have now. The very notion of comparing the two is asinine.
