Noooo. The LSU administration has - by far - been the biggest joke. Alleva should be fired before Miles.

I still think there's a chance for us to come out of this clean.

Missing the point, you are.

No he isn't. The media can only sensationalize something if it already exists. It's not their job to be patient and rational, at least not in 2015. You're truly naive if you think they just cooked this whole thing up from scratch.

Yep.

The whole thing has been overblown.

And a special frick YOU to the unprofessional boosters who couldn't spell discretion if you highlighted it in a dictionary that have deliberately fanned the flames of the story only to tuck and run when reality doesn't match the promises they made to drum up support.

You both are, then. Obviously someone started it, but that doesn't give the media the right to then push everything that comes out as fact.

Yes, yes it is their job. This isn't a story about the Kardashians, this is a story that involves a state university, a multi-million dollar brand, and the possible future success of it.

Show me where I insinuated anything remotely close to that.

Congrats on being part of the problem. People like you are why legitimate journalism no longer exists.

What exactly did Joe Alleva do besides the "No Comment" remark?

Been waiting for someone to give me a straight answer on this all along.

I agree.

I also think, however, that we are the pawns of public opinion, and Sexton and LSU are are sitting on the opposite sides of the playing board, using the media to move the pieces.

So basically you just don't understand that journalism has been dead in this country for roughly 30 years, and would rather blame them in some futile coping mechanism than the actual person who is responsible for keeping them out of LSU's business in the first place. Carry on.

So, who are you a "journalist" for?

You can argue that he should have gotten in front of a microphone to say SOMETHING. He had a leak in the department and is now required to do damage control.

He has to take point in a leadership role by tomorrow morning. Maybe Monday.

If he doesn't, he loses all defense and the statement of "waiting till end of the season" is revealed as a chicken shite evasion.

I'm not looking to blame this crap on TigerDroppings, but it seems somewhat farcical for TigerDroppings to blame this mess on the "media."
