But whatever has happened behind closed doors the past week, somebody told the media something to get this all started. It's not all on the media. Somebody is obviously leaking info to the media to get shite stirred up.

Dude part of the media's obligation is to confirm sources and stories. Not just regurgitate every rumor and innuendo from tweets, message boards, and individuals who claim to be in the know. It IS on the media. If they did their job instead of just reporting things that might be true, most of this shite show wouldn't even exist

That's literally all that matters nowadays. Report first, confirm later. If someone is proven to have filed an erroneous report there's a whisper of outrage and then it's on to the next big "story". Sad state of affairs in print journalism.

ESPN has been on LSU like white on rice for firing Miles, yet there has been NOTHING definitive from the university saying such. Therefore, it fricks with the University brand, the people involved, players, and recruits.
